The Treasures of Montezuma 2 is a fun, color-matching game where you have to collect precious crystals by matching three ancient tokens in a row. You are shown a grid with different colored tokens, all mixed up. You must swap the tokens around to get three in a row. When you get three of the same tokens in a row, they are destroyed and you score points. If you destroy a token that has a crystal inside – you receive that crystal. There are 10 crystals to be collected in each level and there are 40 levels in all, so you'd better get collecting!

How to Play: The goal of each level is to destroy tokens and collect crystals. Using your computer mouse, left click on two tokens which are next to each other in order to swap them, horizontally or vertically. When you have 3 or more matching tokens in a row (vertically or horizontally), they are destroyed and you earn points. If one of the tokens you destroy contains a crystal, you are one step closer to the overall goal of 10 crystals per level. Once you collect 10 crystals, you move on to the next level.

Tip: If you are struggling to find a swap that will give you 3 tokens in a row, click the question mark (?) button on the left of the game screen – this will suggest a switch to assist you. Alternatively, you can click the rotation button on the left of the screen, and that will shuffle the tokens around.
